Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 5, 2026

Kaci Kuykendall, DDS is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Caring for patients of all abilities is core to our practice, and that commitment extends to our digital front door.

Our conformance target

We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. The site was built with accessibility as a design requirement rather than an afterthought, and we verify pages against the built site using automated testing in a real browser together with manual keyboard and screen reader checks. If an independent audit identifies issues, we prioritize fixing them.

Accessibility features on this site

  • Semantic structure with proper landmarks, headings, and a skip link on every page
  • Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators
  • Color contrast engineered into the design system at or beyond the 4.5:1 AA requirement
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences, with animations disabled accordingly
  • An on-page accessibility toolbar offering larger text, increased spacing, a dyslexia-friendly font, high contrast and grayscale modes, link highlighting, a large cursor, a reading guide, strong focus outlines, and reduced motion, with preferences saved on your device
  • Alternative text for meaningful images and accessible names for interactive controls

Known limitations

Some embedded third-party content, such as the map and the appointment form vendor, is outside our direct control. We choose vendors with accessibility support and provide equivalent paths, including phone scheduling at (209) 667-0115, for anything an embed does not handle well for you.

Tell us if something is not working

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, we want to know, and we will work with you to provide the information or service you need through an alternative method while we fix the issue.

When contacting us, it helps to include the page address, a description of the problem, and the assistive technology or browser you were using. We take every report seriously.
