Restorative Dentistry

Dental Implant Restorations

Implant crowns, bridges, and implant-supported dentures that look, feel, and chew like natural teeth. Placement is performed by a trusted local specialist; we restore your smile here.

A dental implant is the closest modern dentistry comes to growing a new tooth. A small titanium post takes the place of the missing root, fusing with the jawbone over a few months. On top of it we secure a crown, a bridge, or a denture attachment, restoring a tooth that looks natural, chews confidently, and never sits in a glass overnight.

We want you to understand exactly how implant care works at our practice, because honesty about who does what is something you deserve from any dental office. The surgical step, placing the implant post in the bone, is performed by a local oral surgery or periodontal specialist with whom we work closely. We plan the case together, and everything else happens here: the diagnosis and records, the coordination of your treatment, and the restorative phase where your final crown, bridge, or implant-supported denture is designed, crafted, and fitted.

That team model gives you a surgeon who places implants every day and a restorative dentist focused on making the final result look and function beautifully. It is how much of the finest implant dentistry is delivered, and our smile gallery shows what it produces: a single front tooth replaced so convincingly it disappears into the smile, and full arches rebuilt with implant-supported dentures and crowns that restored chewing function and natural facial support for real patients of this office.

Implants can replace one tooth without touching its neighbors, several teeth without a removable partial, or a full arch with a fixed or snap-in prosthetic. They also preserve jawbone, which begins resorbing wherever a root is missing. If you are weighing an implant against a bridge or a denture, we will walk you through the honest tradeoffs of each for your specific mouth, timeline, and budget.

Is it right for you?

Implant restorations suit adults missing one tooth, several teeth, or struggling with a loose denture. Sufficient healthy bone, good oral hygiene, and general health that supports healing are the main requirements, all of which we evaluate before recommending anything.

Why choose our office

Implant success is judged by the final result: does the tooth look real, chew well, stay cleanable, and last? That restorative endgame is where this office lives. Dr. Kaci's prosthodontics recognition at the University of the Pacific reflects exactly the skill set implant restorations demand, and the full-arch implant cases in our gallery were planned and restored right here.

You also get straight answers. We tell you who does what, what each phase costs, and when a bridge or denture would honestly serve you as well for less. That candor is rarer than it should be, and our patients value it.

What to expect at your visit

Your journey starts with records and a conversation about goals, then a joint plan with the surgical specialist. The placement appointment happens at their office, typically with local anesthesia and less discomfort than most patients expect. Healing is quiet, and any visible gap gets a natural-looking temporary.

Once the implant is solid, the enjoyable part begins here: impressions, precise shade matching, and delivery of a final restoration that feels like your own tooth. We check it at every future exam like any other part of your smile.

Aftercare

Brush and floss an implant crown like a natural tooth, and keep every hygiene visit. Implants cannot decay, but the gums and bone around them need the same care as any tooth, and early detection protects them for the long run.

Costs, insurance, and timing

Implant treatment involves fees from two offices: the surgical placement at the specialist and the restoration here. We coordinate both estimates so you see the complete picture before starting. Insurance contributions vary, and CareCredit financing helps many patients phase the investment sensibly.

Frequently asked questions

Who actually places the implant?
A local oral surgery or periodontal specialist we refer you to and coordinate with directly. General dentists in California may legally place implants, but we believe you get the better outcome from a surgical specialist placing the post and a restorative team perfecting what you see and chew with. We are transparent about this division on purpose.
Am I a candidate for implants?
Most healthy adults with adequate bone are candidates. Controlled diabetes, smoking, gum disease, and certain medications affect healing and success, so candidacy starts with an honest evaluation of your health history, your bone, and your goals.
How long does the whole process take?
Commonly three to six months from placement to final restoration, because the bone needs time to fuse to the implant. Some cases move faster and some, especially with bone grafting, take longer. You will have a realistic timeline before anything begins, and a natural-looking temporary where appearance matters.
How long do implant restorations last?
Implants themselves commonly succeed for decades with good hygiene and regular checkups. The crown on top lives a working life like any crown and may need replacement after ten to fifteen years of service. Daily cleaning and professional maintenance protect the investment.
